Domestic Lifeforms restored two structures in the fort lauderdale area that blew my mind. One was a rundown duplex that was turned into a great loft-type space and the other was a mid-century modern gem that was restored with most of the original charm intact including restored terrazzo floors. www.domesticlifeforms.com. It is most likely because the real estate market is so slow around here these days. There are great houses in our neighborhood under $300,000 that are mid-century modern gems.
